THE FILM

Two sisters, Ati and Mindhiva, they are part of the Arhuaca tribe a Colombian, pre-colombian indigenous culture.

400 years ago, their ancestors retired to the hearth of the world to preserve their culture. Now, these two girls had realized that to preserve the health of their community they need to combine their knowledge with the western one.

So, after finishing high school, their dreamed to continue with their university studies. But they had no money and, because of their poor education, it was impossible for them to enter in to the public university, the 'Universidad Nacional’.

Nevertheless, they didn’t give up the fight and searched in to other forms of education, even the private ones.

They had been able to find the strength to continue pursuing their dream and we, as spectators, will follow them in to their thoughts and their journey.
